In late autumn 2024 Urs Trottmann, a guitar student of mine showed me a video, he made with his drone on the view point 'Pfannenstiel' in the 'Kanton Zurich' (Switzerland). I was so excited about these shots, I had to write music to it. A string quartet would be perfect for the mood of this footage, so I thought. After the composition was finished, I cut and edited Urs' raw drone footage and 'synchronised' it to the music. The result of this collaboration you can see here. Enjoy! |

Im Spätherbst 2024 stiess ich bei WhatsApp auf ein Video meines Gitarrenschülers Urs Trottmann, welches er mit seiner Drohne auf dem Pfannenstiel im Kanton Zürich (Schweiz) an einem nebligen Morgen aufgenommen hatte. Begeistert von diesen aussergewöhnlichen Aufnahmen, hörte ich sogleich Musiksequenzen in meinem Kopf. Ein Streichquartett sollte es sein. Gedacht, getan. Nachdem die Arbeit an der Komposition beendet war, schnitt und editierte ich das rohe Bildmaterial passend zum Puls der Musik, und das Ergebnis dieser Verbindung von Bild und Ton ist nun hier zu sehen.
