“Him Or Me” is at its peak of #5 today. I posted the kids dancing to “Him or Me” on last week’s episode (from VH1) back in June ’18. (One of my all-time favorite songs gets a special ”bump” today.)

New Raider Freddy Weller chats with Mark Lindsay and Dick Clark about joining the group in this segment. He will be with the band until 1969 when he will go solo and become a successful country singer. He will also go on to co-write “Dizzy” and “Jam Up and Jelly Tight” with Tommy Roe.

…..In International news, tonight Egypt, Jordan and Syria will all comply with a U.N.-mediated ceasefire with Israel ending the “Six-Day War”. In the brief war, the map of Israel completely changed as they gained control of the Gaza Strip and Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the West Bank from Jordan….changes that would last for decades.
