The Nebuta Museum "WA-RASSE" introduces the history of the Aomori Nebuta Festival and you can experience these floats close up. They have four full-sized floats on display and one is more stunning than the next. Depicting demons, warriors and other divine beings, each tells a unique story.

If you can visit during August you can even see the real festival, but I even thought having time and really checking them out here at the museum was amazing to really have time to see them!

So if you love local festivals and Japanese culture then this museum should definitely make it onto your travel list 😉
