We all get angry sometimes. Staying angry takes work.

You have to continuously remind yourself of how you've been wronged and why you have every right to be upset. As I put it in the lyrics, staying angry demands that you “dedicate yourself to reliving dying grievances.”

Of course, my purpose in pointing it out isn't to reinforce the pattern. Once you recognize it, you can simply choose to get off the ride.
