Happy Easter! And with this I release my "Borislav Slavov Extended Scores" Trilogy.

This has been in work together with Crysis 3 and Ryse for several months. I basically took what was officially released and gave it a slight lift over which means declipping and declicking and other mastering improvements with RX9. After that I sighted what game music was actually used on the soundtracks and which has been left away. Therefore the extended score parts which include almost everything that didn't make it onto the official soundtrack. I guess you can also look at this release like a Complete Score.

For me Crysis 2 was always one of the most important game soundtracks in history because not only did it get a release on La-La Land Records (which made it the FIRST game soundtrack ever to be released on this well known label for movie score enthusiasts), the score even featured Hans Zimmer. Though I fastly understood that Hans Zimmer actually had little to do with the score as a whole and Borislav Slavov and Tilman Sillescu are the real shiners. Sure, the main theme is catchy (albeit a bit overused...) but the beautiful compositions such as New York Aftermath are just breathtaking.

Highly recommended score. This is is basically a must have in everyones collection. Especially if you are into bombastic cinematic orchestral scores.

As a sidenote, "Where is The Exit?" and "Prophet's Journey" were actually released officially but for some reason they were ONLY on one specific EA digital version of the soundtrack and omitted on the La-La Land Records release.
