Description
Gramps Tries a Lynyrd Skynyrd tune called Mr. Banker!
"Mr. Banker" is a song by the American Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was recorded in early 1973 at Studio One, Doraville, Georgia, and was first released as the B-side of "Gimme Three Steps" (a U.S. single release) in November 1973. It was not featured on any album until the compilation album Legend in 1987. It was also included as a bonus track on the 2001 reissue of the band's debut album, (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd).
Oh Mr. Banker please, won't you bury my Papa for me...
I ran across this song by pure accident one night many moons ago, while listening to the album. I remember I stayed up very late and musta played this tune over and over a thousand times, and just couldn't believe the amazing slide work and tones I was hearing. Those guys could really play.
Thanks for watching Gramps Tries and I hope you liked my version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Mr. Banker.
