This video is presented to celebrate HANGEUL FESTA 2025 in the General category, telling a story and, at the same time, paying tribute and introducing to the world Dolores Cacuango, an Indigenous leader from my hometown who, despite not knowing how to read or write, fought with great courage and bravery alongside other women and leaders from Cayambe and all over Ecuador for the rights of Indigenous peoples. Dolores was recognized as an outstanding leader in Ecuador and South America.

The story told here is my own writing, based on bibliographic facts, books, and stories passed down by my ancestors, and it includes phrases spoken by Dolores Cacuango herself. The story of Dolores Cacuango is presented in Spanish, Korean based on the Hunmin-Jeongeum, and modern Korean.

Likewise, I used the system proposed by the Hangeul Nuri Foundation, along with my own interpretation of each vowel and consonant in every word of the story, in order to achieve a better understanding of accentuation and tone, and above all, greater accuracy faithful to Spanish.

The drawings included in this video are my own work and creation.

In addition, the video presented at the end of the story shows Dolores Cacuango herself, extracted from the archives of an interview conducted by Rolf Blomberg in 1969, which is currently in the public domain and free of copyright.
