This one was a DOOZY!
With the news that BEAT is on tour playing the Discipline era of King Crimson, inspiration had struck in the form of the title track "Neil And Jack And Me" from 1982's 'Beat'.
This has got to be one of the best album openers of all time, and I was craving a challenge. The guitar lines alone are maddening. Shifting uneven time signatures, angular and melodic lead lines, ELECTRIC CASTANETS!!! This song has it all, and it has been a wonderful journey getting it all under my fingers.
