Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been enchanted by the way the full moon dances on the water. It's like something out a magical dreamy fairytale.

One night, swooning on the beach while watching the moon caress the ocean with its romantic shimmer, the title “Lipstick And Moonlight” came to me. It looked like the moon was kissing the ocean and dancing in its own light. It was pretty cool.

Almost instantly, I heard a melody and rhythm in my head, and "Lipstick And Moonlight' was born.

Blake Aaron jumped in, adding his creative musicality and things clicked. Blake honors ALL my ideas and we had fun putting this together. We envisioned a sax on the track so I reached out to Andrew Neu and was thrilled when he said yes! He really leaned into the vibe, adding his sparkling potion to this magic spell.

To this day, moonlight on the water is still magical to me and I think we captured what nature's brightly shining joy sounds like.
