UPDATES: I made some mistakes while editing and researching this video. The photo I used for Barrett Jones is actually a picture of Mike McCready from Pearl Jam at Laundry Room Studios. I found it on the studio's photo page without a caption and thought he looked like a younger Barrett Jones based on the computer in the background. Also, apparently Kurt did play drums on the first take for Marigold so he was in the room, but is absent on the recording released as the b-side to Heart Shaped Box. There is also an alternate version of Marigold with cello on it as well.
Marigold is a song written by Dave Grohl before his tenure as the drummer of Nirvana. As time went by there would be multiple versions of the songs that would be recorded and released including as a b-side to one of Nirvana's most well known singles. This is the story of the only original Nirvana song to have no writing credits from Kurt Cobain
