"Reasons In Disguise" is a three part docu-series that follows the lives of three musicians as they navigate the ends and outs of the music business and their personal lives. The series raises the question: What does it mean to pursue your dreams at all cost? In part one, the series follows Craig C. Hamilton.

Craig C. Hamilton, 22, is a musician, producer, writer, and entrepreneur hailing from Levittown, PA. Craig’s earliest musical endeavor was at age 10 in his elementary school’s concert band, however, it was not until age 15 when he was given his own drum-set, thus being set on a path of percussive enlightenment. Several years later, he was offered a scholarship to the University of the Arts, taking him away from his home and opening him up to the industry at large. Quickly finding mentorship in some of the area’s most promising musicians and producers, he has been able to cultivate a deep respect from the community and his musical resume continues to grow. As a writer, he has been able to publish a short story and several poems within his younger years. He is now working on his first full length novel and screenplay. Entrepreneurially speaking, Craig has been able to operate himself as a business with great integrity, making him a pleasure to work with. He is the co-owner and co-music director of Phalanx Entertainment and his latest business venture, Brevity Apparel, another partnership, has recently launched a small run of t-shirts, with all profits going to charity. In short, Craig operates as an agglomeration of all things that have led him to his current position, while continuing to shift the culture that predecessors once set for him. As he always says, “It’s bigger than just playing music.”
