Description
This was one of my favorite instrumental songs from the 60s written by the horn Player and co founder of A&M Records Herb Alpert
The legendary Hal Blaine was the original drummer on this track
According to Mr Blain he hit the bass drum for 2 bars on every break section because the band was playing free without a click in the studio and so he used the kick drum to bring everyone in at the right time
