La primera vez que escuché este álbum (London Calling) me encantó, de principio a fin (excepto Brand New Cadillac y Jimmy Jazz). La segunda vez que lo escuché, se me hizo algo repetitivo, pero aun me encantaban London Calling, Lost In The Supermarket y Wrong 'Em Boyo. Poco después descubrí que Spanish Boms trataba de La Guerra Civil Española y que ¡el coro estaba en español!
La tercera vez que escuché el álbum (ya con el CD original), me encantaron Bran New Cadillac, Hateful, Rudie Can't Fail, Clampdown y esta, la más hermosa de todo "London Calling"... The Card Cheat.
