This beautiful piano rag was written by contemporary composer and pianist William Bolcom in 1970. I worked on arranging it for guitar a couple years later, but never totally nailed it, and, over the years, it fell out of my repertoire. Recently, a couple folks have reminded me of it, and so I've re-approached it with the experience of many years. This is a "guitarified" version, altered in order to fit the "6 string piano" more musically, and shortened by the elimination of some of the repeats common to the classic rag form. Played here on the Proulx RBL-00sb, which continues to mature into an astounding instrument.
