Description
Welcome Bright and Beautiful Souls! 🤍
At a time when the world is experiencing much disarray and suffering The Great Bell Chant calls for humanity to unite as one, to cease all suffering on Earth.
A simple yet powerful prayer, a call to return to our innate purity that draws us both inwards and out to the world, a profound realization, that both directions are essentially the same, our inner peacefulness is mirrored in a world at peace. It is time to surrender to the oneness that we all truly are. Allow the Great Bell to speak her message of love and allow your heart to open as a flower in springtime, be a vessel of radiating light.
The Great Bell Chant with a reading by Thay (Thich Nhat Hanh) and beautiful chanting by Brother Phap Niem.
Transcript
May the sound of this bell
penetrate deep into the cosmos
Even in the darkest spots
Living beings are able to hear it clearly
So that all suffering in them cease
Understanding comes to their hearts
And they transcend the path
Of sorrow and death.
The universal Dharma Door
Is already open
The sound of the Rising Tide is heard clearly
The miracle happens
A beautiful child appears in the heart of a lotus flower
One single drop of this compassionate water
Is enough to bring back the refreshing spring
To our mountains and rivers.
Listening to the bell
I feel the afflictions in me begin to dissolve
My mind calm, my body relaxed
A smile is born on my lips
Following the sound of the bell
My breath brings me back to the safe island of mindfulness
In the garden of my heart
The flowers of Peace
Bloom beautifully.
