Description

A singer I simply adore (no less) is the great Sandy Denny. Her very last concert took place on November 27, 1977 at the 'Royalty Theatre' in London. Although it had been released belatedly in 1998 on the "Gold Dust" CD, that album included overdubs and other sweetenings plus a completely mixed-up running order of the songs, which makes it a heavily controversial release.

Here is the penultimate song Sandy ever sang in concert (which btw will always remain her signature tune) as it happened that Sunday night, warts and all (if any), without any alterations and overdubs - plain, beautiful and moving. This one goes out to the love of my life, who unfortunately preceded me into a better world somewhere. Please enjoy!
